Node Coordinates
Use this tab for the five PDF title-block fields and project notes. The Output tab controls the positions of these fields on the A4 calculation sheet.

Nodal Loads iSign convention: +X right, +Y up, +Mz anticlockwise. Use Ctrl+I in any cell to insert a blank row above, Ctrl+Y to delete the current row. After analysis, displayed loads follow the top Result case/combination dropdowns.

Member UDL Loads iEnter a member or node chain such as 1-2-3. The same distributed load is applied to each member in that chain. Existing members are matched by their two end nodes, so a chain segment also works if the member was entered in the opposite direction. Direction may be global X, global Y, or local perpendicular. All UDL magnitudes are per metre of actual member length, including sloping members. w start and w end define a uniform or linearly varying load from the start node of each chain segment.
| Casee.g. DL | Membernode chain | Dir.X/Y/⊥ | w startkN/m | w endkN/m | No.extra | Nodeinc. |

Member Point Loads iEnter a member or node chain such as 1-2-3. The same point load is applied to each member in that chain. Existing members are matched by their two end nodes, so a chain segment also works if the member was entered in the opposite direction. Direction may be global X, global Y, or local perpendicular. a is measured from the start node of each chain segment.

Load Combinations iDefine ULS and SLS combinations explicitly. Enter a combination name, choose a load case, and enter its ULS and SLS factors. Repeat the same name on additional rows to add further cases. A blank SLS factor in an older file is migrated to +1 or −1 according to the ULS sign.
