This version uses a simple working-platform load-spread model. A vertical load is applied to a rectangular contact area and spread through the platform at a user-defined ratio. The resulting effective underside area is checked against the user-defined allowable bearing pressure.
The app is intended for preliminary and independent checks. It does not model punching shear failure, cyclic degradation, settlement, lateral edge effects, geosynthetic reinforcement mechanics or full soil plasticity.
