Application guide
TW Audit
TW issue analysis & guidance.
What this tool does
TW Audit organises temporary-works issue analysis and photo guidance. Review its generated observations against the source photographs and project evidence before sharing or acting on them.
Prepare an issue assessment
- Enter the site, location, date, assessor, weather and known project context.
- Add relevant photographs and identify what each image shows. Record findings as observable facts, separating evidence from assumptions.
- Review and edit the generated findings and report. Add project-specific wording or rules only when they are clear and relevant.
- Use Prepare ChatGPT Enquiry to create a prompt for manual review, or configure an OpenAI API key and use the direct analysis option.
- Check every generated observation against the photographs and site records before sharing or acting on it.
Useful review tools
- Photo collection, structured findings, editable report, prompt generation, copy-to-clipboard and print/PDF output keep the review in one workflow.
- The app can prepare an enquiry for ChatGPT without an API key, or make a direct API call when you supply your own key.
- Project context and prompt additions let the assessor focus the review while keeping a record of the source material.
Safety and data handling
Photo assessment is triage only. It cannot certify temporary works as safe, compliant or ready to load. Use it to highlight visible concerns, missing information and hold points for review by the Temporary Works Coordinator or another competent dutyholder.
Review API provider terms before sending photographs or project data to an external service. Keep API keys private; never include confidential imagery unless the project permits that disclosure.
