Block generation: for a numeric node row, fill No. of Inc, Node Inc, X-inc and Y-inc to generate a series automatically. In increment mode, No. of Inc is the total number of nodes in the run including the start node. If End or Inc is Y, then X-inc and Y-inc are treated as the end coordinates and No. of Inc becomes the number of intermediate nodes between the start row and that end point. For a copied block, enter B1 to copy the nodes generated by numeric row 1, or enter B1-2 to copy an explicit node set.

1-2-3 creates members 1→2 and 2→3. Shorthand 1-2--6 expands automatically to 1-2-3-4-5-6 using the increment implied by the first two node numbers. Member generation: enter No. of extra and Node increment to copy the whole chain. For example 1-2-3-4 with No. of extra = 4 and Node increment = 5 also creates 6-7-8-9, 11-12-13-14, 16-17-18-19 and 21-22-23-24.

Tick restrained degrees of freedom directly. Optional support springs may also be entered: Spring w in kN/m, and Spring Rx / Spring Ry in kNm/rad. Support generation: enter No. of extra and Node increment to copy the support row to further nodes.

Iy is the vertical-bending second moment and J is the torsion constant. Area and unit weight are used only for automatic self weight. Engineering notation such as 200E3 and 120E6 is accepted.
